historyEvery congregation has stories to tell, and we want to hear yours! Never is a congregation’s stories more important than when journeying through a visioning process. As we look to make decisions for the future of St. Paul’s United Church, we must first look to our past, in order to understand who we are today.

Over the next three weeks, we will be asking for your stories about St. Paul’s, related to four specific themes:

  • A story about something that happened at St. Paul’s that was spiritually moving for you.
  • A story about something that happened at St. Paul’s that was hilariously funny.
  • A story about something that happened at St. Paul’s that defined what our church is about.
  • A story about an organization that you belonged to at St. Paul’s.

So start thinking! The theme for this second week is “something that happened at St. Paul’s that was hilariously funny.” Think of a story, write it down on the pink insert you got on Sunday, and bring it back this Sunday! We’ll have a special place to post them in the hall after church!

*The posters are up in the hall – don’t forget to bring your story from last week and post it under the name of the minister who was here when your story happened, or under the year that it happened. If you can’t make it out to church, but would still like to participate, drop a story off at the church office, email us, or phone and we’ll make sure your story is included!*

NOTICE: There will be a visioning team meeting after church in the sanctuary on Sunday, April 24th. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate!

Peace,
Visioning Team
