Please see below for the schedule of things that are happening through the season of Lent (and a little before):
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
On Tuesday Feb. 28th we are coming together in Fraser Memorial Hall for a pancake supper starting at 5:45 p.m., hosted by the men of the congregation. The menu includes pancakes, sausages, beans, brown bread and pies for desert. This is a free will offering meal, so pay what you can, but if you can’t, please come and have some pancakes on us! Also Rev. Richardhas challenged Pastor Sarah to a rematch after his tragic loss in the pancake flip-off. Come and cheer them on!
On Wednesday, March 1st we are gathering in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m. for our Ash Wednesday Service. Come and experience a service where we name the burdens, seek support and relief from God, and begin our journey to the cross. For this service we will enter in silence surrounded by the presence of God.
On Thursday, April 13th at 6 p.m. we will be joining with our brothers and sisters at Wilmot for a Maundy Thursday supper and service as we remember the Last Supper.
Continuing the work as Downtown United, we are gathering at St. Paul’s at 10 a.m. for a Good Friday service. Join us as we experience that final day, those final moments, and hear the final words of our brother and saviour Christ.
Please keep an eye on this schedule for changes that may happen due to weather or other extenuating circumstances.
