Under the direction of Dr. Sharon Pond, St. Paul’s United Church enjoys an active music program. Our beautiful architecture and acoustics showcase our excellent 3 manual Casavant Organ and Petrof Grand Piano.

Choirs
We offer a variety of choral opportunities.
The Children’s Choir, under the direction of Cathy Davis, welcomes boys and girls 2-6 to sing together. They rehearse Sundays after church.

The Tween Choir for ages 10-13. They rehearse Sundays after church.

The Vocal Collective, under the direction of Dr. Sharon Pond, for ages 14 plus. They rehearse Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30. They sing at services once a month and also sing at outside functions.

The Adult Choir, under the direction of Sharon Pond, sings on Sunday mornings, with rehearsals on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from September to early June.

Other Music Programs
Organist Assistant Program for youth ages 11 and up. This program is to introduce youth to the organ and to let them see what is involved in producing music for Sunday morning services. Duties would include assisting the organist on Sunday mornings by turning pages, pulling stops, etc. No previous musical experience is required.

Concerts
St. Paul’s presents a noontime concert series in Advent (December), and Lent held on Wednesdays from 12:10 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.  Admission is free, with a freewill offering collected.
