Every Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Parlour, St. Paul’s United Church hosts an Open Bible Study. All are welcome to this time of exploration and sharing. Most welcome here are questions about the readings, what they meant to the people of the day, and what they might mean to us now. On this page, you will be able to find the readings for each week, with a little description of each one. We don’t always get through all 4 readings, but we do try to make enough time and space for questions to be answered, and if not answered, at least explored.
Readings that we look at on a given Sunday will generally be used in the following week’s service, so this gives attendees of the Bible Study a deeper insight than can often be offered during regular worship.
Come on this journey through our Holy Text as we discern the Word of God in the midst of the words of the scripture.

Before you were formed in the womb, I set you apart.
