As we strive to find more ways to stay connected in the midst of the COVID-19, we are excited to invite you to be a part of an experience that both deepens faith and strengthens our connections to one another.

If you have been to St. Paul’s United Church in the last year, you will have seen an insert in the bulletin called “God’s Story, Our Story”. These inserts invited members to join with one another in the following practices:

  • -Pray: Light a candle. Open your devotion with prayer.
  • -Read: Read the key verses from Sunday’s reading.
  • -Reflect: Reflect on the scripture summary.
  • -Connect: Connect in conversation with one another.
  • -Bless: Close your devotion with a blessing.
  • -Do: By acting on what we learn, we make God’s word come alive.

Each Wednesday, at 2:00 PM, you are invited to join in the conversation. Because we are limiting in-person activities at the church, this gathering will take place on the Zoom digital platform (so right in the comfort of your own home!).

The resource sheet for this weeks “God’s Story, Our Story” can be found HERE!

To get going, you need one of four things:

  • a computer
  • a tablet
  • or a cellphone
  • a landline

To use your computer, follow this link: https://zoom.us/j/353872082, and follow the instructions (to either login with an account or as a guest), and just wait for the conversation to get started.

On a tablet or cellphone, after clicking the same link as above, you may have to download and install the Zoom app, but logging in is just as easy.

In the 3 above situations, make sure to click the microphone button in the lower left corner to make sure you have sound (text may say dial in with device audio).

If you want to call in via a landline or cellphone, this is also possible. All you have to do is call: 1(647)558-0588 and use the meeting code 353872082. Please note that long-distance charges may apply. Please check with your provider to see if you will be affected.

You’re now ready to go! We look forward to seeing you online!
