The Reverend Michelle Armstrong was ordained in the United Church of Canada in 2013 by Alberta Northwest Conference. While being baptized as baby, she first became active in the church through campus ministry while attending the University of Calgary during her undergraduate degree. Despite coming later to ministry Rev. Michelle has served the church in a variety of ways including as a youth minister in Alberta, covering a sabbatical for a hospital chaplain in Nova Scotia and serving as minister in Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.
Within her ministry Rev. Michelle has expressed passion for faith growth and development for ALL ages, ensuring congregations create space for everyone especially children and youth and thought provoking worship. She likes wrestling with questions and helping others uncover ways to use the gifts that God has given them.
Coming most recently from rural Saskatchewan Rev. Michelle, her husband Mike and son Reid are looking forward to getting to know Fredericton and are excited for all of the opportunities the city offers.
